Can Science Correct Itself? Lessons from Psychology's Reproducibility Movement
How can a field incentivize rigor? Efforts to improve reproducibility in psychology have sparked important conversations about scientific rigor. Join Simine Vazire, winner of the 2025 Einstein Foundation Individual Award for her contributions to rigor and transparency in research, and Konrad Kording, C4R's Principal Investigator, as they discuss what it takes to build a more rigorous and self-correcting research culture.

Strengthening Rigor Through Open Research and Evaluation
Whether a piece of research has passed peer review is no longer sufficient evidence of its quality or trustworthiness. This talk will explore how shifting toward more timely sharing of results through preprints and open science, alongside more open approaches to peer evaluation, can strengthen research rigor and help address persistent threats to research integrity.

Learn how to build a grassroots community that can strengthen rigor and create lasting change within labs, departments, and institutions, with funding and resources available through the Community for Rigor.
